Zach graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he studied Exercise and Sport Science-Sport Administration. After working a couple years on the business side of sport, his passion for fitness and helping others led him back into the performance side. Zach attended and graduated from the National Personal Training Institute where he received a diploma in personal training before completing a three-month coaching mentorship at a sports performance center in Cary, NC. He then went on to work at a number of different gyms after becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and receiving the Precision Nutrition Level-1 certification. Most recently Zach acquired his CrossFit Level 1 certificate and is coaching at a local CrossFit gym while pursuing his Masters in Entrepreneurship through Western Carolina University.
